A short response to an excellent post on cannabis. This issue is here to stay. The more we look at it the better we will understand it.

Remembering back to those smoke-filled days of the sixties. The improbability of a bag full of iridescent buds suddenly transforming into a passel of chirping and talking little green parrots now just a distant… No, nothing added, just pure marijuana.

Probably one of the most thorough, pro/con, quick read summaries on MJ I’ve ever come across. Well done. And regardless of the solidity of or lack of the research; (not yours, I mean the studies’…), there’s plenty to get from this info-rich post.

Bottom line of course: the jury is still out on just about everything re Marijuana!.

There is absolutely no question whatsoever that today’s cannabis is stronger than the stuff we smoked in the sixties. So you can take that one to the bank!

For me as a months away from seventy citizen of the planet marijuana doesn't give me what it did back in the 'ancient days'. A couple of years ago I smoked some after not smoking for a lifetime. You know, for the fun, and because my melanoma needed carresing...

In moments I discovered that the loss of control of my mind is not for me. I'd swear that back then I was in control, totally, as I went about enjoying the high. No loss of control.

Yeah I know: this is not to say that with further effort I could reestablish that 'control'.

My question then: is it worth it? The prep work, the accesories, the smell, throat burn, the cherry red eyes, if it's an edible the weird time lapse before a high kicks in...

But all the same, don't get me wrong amigo and never say never.
