Been many years since I'd first read of Fermis Paradox. Fascinating and still completely out of my reach, though your noble effort is much appreciated. Yes I am one of those unfortunates who truly were handicapped, no doubt at birth, not through illness or trauma . Despite the relatively large body of books Ive read on basic physics, macro and micro my inability to grasp even the most 'simple' explanations of the world of space, time, gravity, etc, etc, remains painfully evident. Physics and its vast domain is utterly beyond me. It saddens me, has so all my life because one thinks with my pure interest and my fascination that world has always held for me I might get at least just the merest speck of an 'aha!' but no.

Thanks for the excellent read. I do have a final request: another short piece from you explaining to us just how we determined that it takes the 93 years to cross the known universe.
