Thanks for the heartning piece on aging.

At seventy one I too have been down that road. And yes, the mirror has sprung its surprises upon me in increasing numbers.

Thanks for the short to do list. It's a relief to find such a short list to conserve ones youth. It's as though you express a certain acceptance. I believe this acceptance is key to staying happy.

We age and yet we still can feel like that eight year old, through many filters now. Yes, those around me by showing their concern at what to them appears as an emerging frailty speak their minds. Regardless I believe that it's the one who's aging is the one who 'knows' best. I can only nod in acceptance, some grace at others perceptions. Perhaps sensing too a bit of sadness that they too will sooner than later fall under the heavy anvil of age.

Amidst all of that there is great joy and happiness to harvest. This perhaps being the most important message to the younger ones.
