As a most infrequent VS customer, (I buy stuff there for my wife but dont live near a store), the stores have always amazed me. I observe closely in an effort to understand the VS system, the reason, or partially, the reasons for their success.

Your piece was enjoyable, I mean besides just being very interesting, of going into the inner workings (to a small extent) the way things are done at VS. But it was enjoyable because of your atitude.

So many former employees from countless walks of life will write about their time at work in an effort to trash the brand, its people, etc. Rightly so or otherwise... You kept it interesting and from a business perspective informative. In my humble opinion and having been in business for over thirty years your up beat report was refreshing.

One memorable VS experience I had, maybe Miami, perhaps Panama, looking for bras for my wife. I was happily surprised when the sales lady took it upon herself to model several bras for me! Yes, I bought a handfull of bras. In no way am I belittling VS by sharing this, not even close. It was done, so tastefully. I walked on a cloud the rest of the day.

Yes I am a sucker sometimes.
