Gods' truth!

The 'old' question: write like a car assembly line or carefully, thoughtfully, well executedly (sp?), deliver one good piece a week?

I agree that there do seem to be those mass producers that can put out story after story. My question is more along the lines of doubtful quality. Yes, I know, there are some quantity writers that do produce quality reads. But this is in reference to the army of voracious writers whose quality more than likely suffers.

I think it's different for every writer. I think we all have our 'sweet spot' when we just know we've overstepped our proper rhythm. No doubt we need to acquire the detection skill to know when we go beyond our ability to maintain quality because of excessive numbers.

It's a personal thing, not easily applied to masses of which we are all members. If you are happiest writing one story weekly or bi weekly may it be so then, Less suffering more than likely will result in improved quality!

My two cents.
