Ha! The debate revived! Good stuff.
I saw white and gold, however I 'sensed' light brown.
If I'm not mistaken the fotog took the pic of the dress in the shade giving its confusing colors. The white was easy for me as it was clearly misrepresented by the errant shade.
Then again the gold could just as easily be a light brown.
I suppose this could go back to that truism that if you have ten witnesses around a car crash each will describe it differently.
In the Viet Nam books I've read, the accurate recompilations of the countless battles were given numerous descrotions. This 'confusion' seems to be an even greater issue in the fog of war. Not surprisingly.
