hey Sean

compelling piece to put it mildly.

Incredible experiences the two survivors had. Given a second chance.

Interestingly your comment about how suicide, the talk of, is avoided or shunned. I've always felt that we stay clear of the subject due to our inability to control the desire to kill oneself. It just has never been part of the cultural conversation.

it's a little like when some people stand on top of a tall building, no fence, and oddly there's the notion to go for it, jump. Talking about suicide, allowing it into our every day talk just might give one the needed nudge to do it. Just a thought.

A million years ago I had my little, Brazilean 22 pistol revolver against the left side of my head. Sitting under a guava tree in the middle of a cattle filled field. I asked for a sign so I wouldn't do it. Just then a heffer approached me and stopped just feet in front of me and took me in with her huge and sorrowful eyes. The subtle, tropical breeze that suddenly cooled my brow helped too.

Thanks for the good write.
