Hey Sean,

Beyond a doubt your post will respond with quite a harvest of: oH yeah I have it too, this is what I do. If it’s genuine you should be able to get some of the best advi.ce around given there’s no cure as of yet.

Be sure to attempt some of the ideas sent you.

At least two highly respected meditation teachers and authors during our one on one meets assured me nothing to worry about. Yes the concept of developing a stoic mindset is helpful. One of the teachers in a fact told me the constant zinging in his ear provided him with yet an additional object for his meditation sessions.

For what it’s worth I’m going nigh on over thirty years with what I used to consider a bothersome curse. Now it is nothing more than part of my existence.

Sometimes for the hell of it I will do as many meditators do with the object of meditation. Sort of as you,d do with the breath: see it [the tinitis), you can say : I see you… it will sooner than later jUst take a back seat…it will take an insignificant hold on your awareness. Very soon it just sort of fades from your awareness.

An aside: in case you didn’t know aspirin will fire up the tinitis big time, best to avoid if possible. Coffee doesn’t,t help the tinitis situation either. Of course playing music loud, ear phones it will fire up the ringing!

Best of luck and after a short time period the bother will recede, promise. One of those things that simply become a part of your life.
