Yogananda reffered to a few he had as a youth as well. Other teachers have related the same.

Perhaps in our unique lives, we all have our 'spiritual journeys', some like yours on the side of the mountain with your chai and the snake, others perhaps not as 'mind blowing.

I'm afraid had that been me with the snake, despite all I've read on just this thing, it would've got the better of me.

I was able however to relate to when in El Savador I fell thirty five feet from a pine tree. And similar to yours in to the extent that it was spiritual I was afforded I think, a special 'look-see'.
