Unwittingly I've been writing Speculative fiction forever it seems. Just never encountered that label prior to your piece.

Fascinating in fact. In fact arguments could be said that most of whats written could or might pass as SF. I mean, even the instructions that come with a brand new steam cooker purchased at Wal marts... The peomise of the currently not real. IE: the steam cooker is just a chunk of metal and not until one reads the fanciful buyers manual will it go from 'chunk' to a hot, spitting cooker of delights. SF!

Am I right?
