You usually get my vote, on everything music.

Quick question: Are yoy attempting to please a loved one with this selection? If so I accept your efforts here with the selections. but I suspect you are sincerely putting forth your top anthem for the time period stated. I can dig it of course.

But by god while the Carps certainly produced melliflouslly and sleep worthy croonings, top anthem material? Not for me at least. All in the spirit of friends sharing tune faves.

As you said, I could find 42 other selections, easily!

As with you I am more classic rock.

The Carpenters used to catch my ear on rare occasions but more out of sympathy for all of their foibles and struggles. Of course, their singing voices were way up there in pure quality. But most certainly not top anthem for any slot.
