You're not alone in not being able to get into the program. I'm from Guatemala and this country is on that list. Further complicating things is that I'm not a US citizen.

So the way I look at it, until medium opens things up more writers like you and me will be members of a not so elite club.

We can call ourselves: Those not allowed in...
