Once again, a most enjoyable piece.

Many, many moons ago I read the book. Though I considered myself of the 'hip' in the day much of the text either went through me or over me haha.

As I recall many of my fellow youth picked out particular pieces of his book as those things that called our attention. Of course this is as it should be...

Back then and now with your good review I'm given to thinking once again that here is yet another case of a good writer, fraught with deep issues, some dark, (dont we all?), displays for public consumption the deeper issues that most of us handle on a singular, utterly personal basis.

But then if writers never shared this deeper thinking, often so erroneous (my feeling), with the rest of us how much would we be missing out on?
