I can't be sure none of my stories have been borrowed from.

I personally have never, lifted from a story.

And yet, just the other day I tried doing better descriptives of an Alaska freeze scene. No I didn't consult any of the 'freezing' classics. But through the years I've read many of them. I myself have been caught many times in freezing weather. I'm sure beyond a doubt that at least some of my writing on the cold has to have been influenced from what I've read. But that's not stealing anothers work.

I'm sorry this happened to you. The feeling has to be awful. If someones too damn lazy to fight at the laptop to get things written then they should choose something else to do.
