I love stories like this.

For better or worse it speaks to humanity to make big things. Pure and simple: Lets just see how damn big we can make this f%6$· thing, why not?.

Then there's just something so pissing, depending on where one may sit politically, (love or hate the Iraqui dictatorship), yes, about them blowing the big boat all to hell...

Then your story speaks to the growing in age question: re intimacy; is bigger better? No pun intended, but sure you could even apply it to 'that'. I was told by a lady friend that this guy was hung like a horse and the pain was unbearable. Weird observation? Sorry.

Look at bombs and our ability to kill. The quantum leap in destructive ability and how completely out of our control is the atomic bomb. Why couldnt we just keep the bombs to a more manageable thing. you know, like one of those damn things that can take out a city block. Not trying to be funny here. But Jesus, isnt this preferable to taking out a large city? Too big, too much trouble. Your great post crosses a wide spectrum.

Your story has rung many bells. Food for thought...
