My hope is that most readers of your powerful piece, vid included, resonate in heartfelt hope the young lady will be okay.

Young lady because as I’m in my early seventies I do know she’s still young enough to look ahead and project to a positive and dare I say it: positive future years.

Her dilemma is of course so common unfortunately. This is by no means an attempt to minimize the young ladies difficulties. Not at all. But at her age she still has a huge part of life to look ahead to. And yes, to repeat , her struggles are happening, literally and more than likely in several homes and apartments right in her neighborhood.

Well written your piece Yael. Hopefully the young lady will soon find her way to the sunlight. Then just for the hell of it she and all of us would do well to bring to mind yet again that ancient country classic whose lyrics included these words: I never promised you a rose garden…. But in a positive light.

And that it’s okay to run into the shit in our lives. And that life goes on…
