Drugs is the scourge upon this planet.

I too have lost people, and have come close myself in the past thank god.

In Michigan and once in Miami I brought two people out of overdoses.

Heroin use used to effect some very close to me as well.

It would be very helpful if uncle sam changed its ancient ruling and paranoia re drugs, its use, its abuse.

US needs to set up clinics on a massive scale, and I dont mean those deppressing hellholes where you go for your last damn hit. I mean clean, proffesional, compassionate places that will get one cleaned and off to a new start.

And yes, when the user -fails- again (there is no real failure), then they return to thier towns clinic to detox again and again damnit.

Just think of it, were Uncle sam to divert one half of one percent of its militarty outlay to these clinics the entire country could be covered!
