Strange indeed.

It could be the way you wrote the piece but I felt something for Edmund, not sure what. I sensed that there was little danger. You do know that once you let the man into your apartment all hell could been released...

Of course in situations like this you never know. I was stalked one night in a small coastal town in Honduras. I finally had to turn to face him, I told my then wife to continue walking towards the hotel. It was a stick up.

I've been held against my will other times, different places and most ended okay.

Another time late night Madrid, sob held us up.

This stuff happens. The fact that you guys invited the Persian in says more about you than the drifter. Good for you. If the planet had more like you perhaps we'd have less problems.

I am convinced it has to do with the dismal and lost state of human nature. The sorry mess we are making in simply living lives on this planet.

My point being: we just have absolutely no damn clue, no clue. I of course include myself in this majority of lost ones...
