Most of what you say is dead on and very useful.

I'm a struggling Medium writer, over 130 stories graciously published. I get the greatest majority of my stories on : An Idea. I find they are open to a very satisfying array of topics and agendas.

'An Idea' publishers doesn't require ones skills have to be the same quality standards as Hemingway or King. Neither will they accept 'crap'. In other words ones work has to meet a certain level of craft.

Perhaps one of many of their most admirable hallmarks is they will allow you creative flexibility, that rarest of creative joys.

Few things are as pleasing to a writer as the degree of creative freedom allowed you by 'An Idea'. Goes without saying the format, (as should be) will let you know if your post isn't quite 'on' this time.

Yes, two stories evolved from the one, but we can go with it.

Auctors writers tips I find, tend to fall into step with 'An Ideas' guidelines and parameters.
