Unfortunately we will see this ‘moving on’ more and more. Probably inevitable. I’m seventy and my music were the 60s then in descending order each passing decade. Just makes sense.
Do I like it? Hell no. Almost sickens me that these RS sellouts (all about selling more mags), eliminate the Stones, Beatles. In their place goes what I call crap.
But what do I know? Today’s youth will determine what new ‘oldies’ classics will emerge. It’s just life, the ebb and flow…
There will be a day where the kids will ask ‘Crosby, Stills, Nash and what?’
Just wait around you’ll see.
