Well stated Sean. Even after all these years when dropped in the middle of a crowd can almost drive me to panic. as a salesman I gave over two thousand presentations. Im not sure how I overcame my debilitating lack of social skills. Perhaps it was really having my pitch down which lasted almost half an hour not counting the usual small talk up front and at the end.

Its the crowd scenario that can kill me. I'm saddened to say this is is even the case when the crowd are my extended family!

I do feel it has lots to do with my 'premeeting' mind set. If I don't prime up, you know, get up the drive and gumption usually ends poorly.
